What are the legislative priorities for gun-rights advocates in NYC?

I think they should focus on:

1. bringing the rifle/shotgun magazine size to be the same as NYS. 10-rounds.

2. Allow one gun purchase per month, not one every 3 months.

3. Reduction of permit renewal/application cost to $50 or $100.

They should also bring the AWB restrictions up to par with the rest of the state ( Cannot possesses 2 or more instead of any 1 'evil' feature )
I'd love a M1 Garand... But until we stop all those bayonet deaths here in nyc i'm afraid it is only a pipe dream ;)

yeah, some parts of the AWB are very silly.

nothing evil about a pistol grip...especially as it has very ergonomic features

there should be a NYC-compliant AR-15.

people simply need to be educated.

if NYCers and the City Council understood that more crimes are committed with knives than with rifles/shotguns, they might back-off a little.
Unfortunately that does not seem to be the case as of late... Lots of high profile gun crime lately. Not really the time for anyone to "see the light"
