A flash suppressor is not illegal in itself. Only when combined with other evil features on the assembled firearm which would make the whole gun illegal.

this is a in nys question.............you have one pre ban ar and one post ban ar.......... both are complete guns can you legally have an EXTRA assembled complete upper with a flash suppressor sitting around and not be breaking any laws?

Right....also just to clarify the only part that is considered a firearm is the lower. Therefore that upper means nothing unless it's attached to a lower.unless it was a pre ban gun
