Knockout Game Turns Deadly: 60 Year Old Woman Shoots and Kills 2 Teens After Being Punched

Police are still trying to piece together the events of Monday night after a woman was attacked and then fired shots into the crowd of teens that assulted her.

Beulah Montgomery, who just turned 60 yesterday, says she was walking home after purchasing lottery tickets when she says a group of teens, 7 of them, approached her. Montgomery initally thought they were going to attempt to steal her purse but says she was instead hit by one of the individuals as a second attempted to hit her. That's when she grabbed her gun.

"All I could feel was pain and I said to myself I had made it to 60 and I wanted to atleast see 61," she recalled. "Then I started praying and I asked the Lord to guide my hands" Montgomery says she then reached into her purse and and shot in the direction of the teens and they started to flee. However two of them didn't make without being hit.

Beulah who is a member of her local neighborhood watch said she has always carried a gun after being mugged once before. "Its a shame you can't walk through your own neighborhood where you are supposed to feel safe without being assulted and mistreated," she continues. "I purchased the gun hoping I would never have to use it, but I'm glad to still be in the land of the living."

The same cannot be said for her two victims, Montgomery fired 5 times hitting one of the teens in the chest and the other in the stomach. Because of their age police are not releasing the names at this time, but are saying the teens died as a result of the gun shot wounds. Police are still looking for the others teens who were apart of the group. Witnesses say they ran off after the gun shots were fired.

Police have not yet charged Montgomery, who has no prior arrests, but she was detained and later released.

This is the latest story in what seems to be a string of similar incidents happening over the US where teens are playing something called the "knockout game" where they approach strangers and attempt to knock them out with one punch.

Another knockout game story that ends well.

The only problem I see is that 3 bullets missed their target. I'm glad they didn't hit anyone not involved...

I give her a 9.5

10 for attitude
10 for taking appropriate action
8 for accuracy under duress
9 for making the world a better place

.25 bonus for facing 7 and taking out 2.

The way I see it is that she had the right to defend herself even if the ones she hit didnt throw the punches. She was under attack by the entire gang and felt in fear for her life.

just watch, the knockout game is going to gain some serious ground now that the media is spreading the word and these punk ass kids are going to say "hey that sounds like fun".

It may gain ground and become popular with little thugs the nation over, but you're going to start seeing a lot of folks defend themselves like this lady did. In a free state they'll give someone like that an award (as they should) in NY the victim will probably be thrown in jail or else it will be spun as just another case "gun violence." Personally I hope more of those little thugs get shot. Maybe that will teach them to mind their own business and not mess with other people.

its a double edged sword, I agree. Personally, I never heard of it until it was posted on here. I was always pretty good with situational awareness but my level of awareness has be raised because of it.

Great end to a bad situation. I cannot nor will I ever be able to greive for these types of individuals. I think it is a damn shame when we think it is good news when the youth of America die. It is well derserving death, don't get me wrong.

When the hell are we going to wake up in this Country and admit that we have a serious violence problem on our hands. These types of attacks are only going to get worse in the very near future, stay aware my friends, make sure that your families are aware of the dangers and stay vigilant!

Even better then the one who got a year in jail.

You know what? This is a pretty weird time for America right now, you have the rash of shootings that seem to be popping up more and more for the Antis agenda, and then here we are with the KO game fueling the argument that having a gun can save your life. Hopefully we win.

Also, good shooting for a 60 year old who just got socked in the head by some punk, glad they died this time and I don't feel bad saying that.

Can't say I'll shed a tear for the two that got what they deserved. Does make me feel good that the other 5 pieces of crap are now going to have to live knowing their actions killed 2 of their friends. Pretty sure none of those 5 will ever try playing knockout again and will spread the word throughout the hood about what can happen

This story needs to be spread far and wide. Maybe other punks will have second thoughts the next time they decide to pull something like this. I would love to have that lady as a neighbor.
