Just a heads up about Seller Rating.

I'm not sure if you guys have noticed this, but sometimes my trader rating vanishes. I have only 1, but that is better than nothing, and sometimes it does not show up. It is totally random, it seems to happen when I first get on the site, but after 5-6 page clicks appears. Sometimes not. Sometimes is is always there. If it does not appear everything else does, but the last line, "Trader Rating (#) % does not. My info is:

Mac OSX 10.8.2
iMac 3.06GHz Intel Core i3 with 8GB RAM.
Safari Browser
This has been happening since just about the time I became a seller here.

It isn't a huge issue, just something I have noticed. Thanks guys. :)

Info so we know if it is browser/OS specific?
It only happens when you reply or post within a thread (the post that you just created won't show your trader rating, but everyone else should be able to see it). After you reload the page your trader rating should show up. Happens in all browsers. Just some sort of refresh issue within the forum software I believe.
I always put it down to me not needing to see my trader rating as a below avatar stat and had always presumed everyone else could see it regardless which is more important anyway IMO.
Well that and I'm unlikely to ever do and online transaction with myself, so being able to see my own ratings without going into my profile page isn't such a loss.

While on the subject, what I'd like to see is trader rating be a forced reply kind of thing.
More than once I've given ratings to a seller only to be completely ignored in return for being the buyer. I don't mean give a good rating back because a good rating was received, I mean give some kind of response at all instead of just sucking up seller marks and making buyers look stupid because they have more ratings given than received even though they should be equal number.
An imbalance can sort of lead one to believe that perhaps a deal didn't go so well.

Buyers need a good rep too if they want to be trusted by sellers, and I imagine sellers do look at buyers ratings as part of thier final decision to sell to a given individual.

As Chris said above me, It's because when you create a thread or reply to a thread it doesn't show up for you. It's always been that way, and it's how the plugin was written.
I always put it down to me not needing to see my trader rating as a below avatar stat and had always presumed everyone else could see it regardless which is more important anyway IMO.

I can see this, but I believe even eBay doesn't force people to give feedback. However, they do force the seller to leave only positive feedback. We have to make some assumptions that people are adults and will return the favor with feedback after the sale. Let me see if they've updated the plugin at all with any new features.
Question was how to leave feedback.

Like the blind squirrel, I eventually figured it out.
Go to the persons profile page then hit the tab for trader rating. You will see where it says leave trader rating, click that.

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
