Talked to my background investigator Nov 13th 2017, said he was all set and was sending my application to the judge. Just wondering everyone’s wait time for the judge to sign, specifically for the City of Rochester.

Monroe County is awesome right now. 3 months for whole process. I heard city of Rochester applications sucks and could be out over year and half. but if the RPD has done your investigation that's sounds promising. MCSO is flying though investigations and getting them on judges desk quick. I would imagine they use same judges.

I know for me it was just shy of 2 months after getting the call from RPD to getting approval letter.

Edit

From the call it took about a month and from the Judge and back to the clerk's office was about the same and the approval letter was a wee later.

Thanks for the replies, just got my approval letter in the mail. Now just have to wait for the card to show up.
