Hi All,

So I have this Rock River Varmint 24" bull barrel that I really enjoy. It comes with a standard A2 stock, but I put on this adjustable cheek riser which is a game changer when it comes to setting myself up. But is this legal? Would this be considered an adjustable stock in NYS?

If so, could I permanently fix this riser (security screws with loctite or something) which would make it NYS legal?

I haven't got a good photo of the rifle handy, but you can see it below. It's the closest rifle. If you zoom in, you can see the home-installed cheek riser, which is adjustable with two knurled thumb screws
.

Here is a link to the product: https://www.amazon.com/vsdfvsdfv-Ad...s=adjustable+cheek+rest&qid=1677951360&sr=8-2

Thanks for any help!

I do t think that’s what they meant when they said adjustable stock. What they mean is adjustable in and out for comfort. I guess it is adjustable stock but if you review the safe act website and restriction they have an illustration. Sad you have to think that way but I think your good.
