Stop dreaming like a fool. ATF says, "Once a full auto, always a full auto." NYS takes the same approach to semiautos. My local gunshop in Guilderland, J&J, was put out of business because they were turning noncompliant AWs into compliant AWs. If they can even begin to screw you for some imaginery infraction, that is nothing more than a fanciful legal construction of the gun laws here in NYS, you will spend a great deal of time and money to get out of it, while they spend your tax dollars sticking it to you. BTW They will have many great nights out having dinner on your dime and yukking it up, while you wonder how you're going to pay your legal bills. Jack's Oyster House on State St in Albany does a huge business on your tax dollars. We have scum for government in this state, and it's our own fault.
