How Many Think There Will Be A SHTF Situation?

SHTF....absolutely. The Mideast will finally explode, using all available weapons. Allies will get involved, NATO, UN, all will join in.

So, yeah, ask WHEN, not if. Methinks SOON. Watch for food shortages, water shortages, forget about gasoline, none available.

How about guns and ammo? Hey remember when you were able to buy guns and ammo......and you didn't? Tough luck, sucker.

it's going to turn into that just in our state if they keep going with new gun control. We'll start fighting back eventually.

Eventually...but when is that line drawn in the sand? Before or after we can't buy anything, posses anything, or have anything left?

When it happens, Just call 911 like a good citizen, sit & wait... Help is on the way, Everything will be fine.

I believe in being prepared for SHTF.
The chances of SHTF? 100%
SHTF is taking place somewhere on the planet every day.
The chances of SHTF on a global scale? 100%
Eventually, something catastrophic will happen.

Will I ever experience a SHTF scenario? I have no clue. But I have fire extinguishers in my house because there could be a fire. I wear a seatbelt when I'm in a car, because I could be in an accident. I don't see preparing for SHTF as being any different.

The only one I can think of at the moment.... Is when I find the SOB that stole my trail cam between Friday and today !!!!

Am i worried about it? No.
Am I prepared for it? Yup.

The plans are laid, the groundwork is complete and if it ever happens. We'll be ok, God willing.

folks have been fantasizing about some form of Apocolypse for millenia.

Just picked up an old steel jerry can for the 4runner, now I need to get a case of ramen noodles & some ammo and I'm good to go.

WWI...WWII....Vietnam....Korea....Katrina.....these were close enough to apocalypses for most people, for those who lived the areas effected by each of these events.

Major natural disasters are just as nasty as wars in many cases also...

yeah, but folks in this thread are talking about more of a fantastical situation of martial law, NWO-take over, UN invasion, breakdown of the USA, civil war, kinda fantasies.

Breakdown of the US isnt an impossibility. If you think we are "beyond" or "above" that, then you are greatly mistaken. Every empire in history has thought the same, and all have met the same fate in the end.

The Balkanization of the United States is a very real possibility.

Dont forget, though we are a very young nation, that we are one of the oldest democracies that hasnt undergone another revolution and great change.

That would be cool to get a NY firearms SHTF radio channel,I dont have a ham radio but would probablty get one for that!
