Just wondering what an HK911 is worth? Also is it Pre ban? Considering it was converted from a HK91 to get around the Ban,but was already in the country?

sure there are some people try to get $5k for, but they sit..for years

$2400-3k id say.

Regular 91s sell for $2k-2.5k

preban in the sense of pre94. I think they need to be made 922R compliant with US parts...much like the Greek SAR-3 HK91s which were overstamped with a SAR-3 or XG3S etc...

high cap mags? pretty darn sure yeah.. id say 99% confident. HK91s never came in low cap except for prob anything from Turkey, like the 94s and 93s. Unsure if they even brought in any single stack 91s, probably not.

So yea, id say high cap. But they were thumbhole stock rifles (the HK 911s)

it was a fuzzy, messy, grey area time period...especially those caught in customs. Holds true for the HK91s, Mak AK47s, and all the other poor guns. If you want more detailed info, post over at HKPRo forums, they are a good bunch and know a LOT about these rifles.

AFA ban status, mag capacity and firearm are irrelevant to each other.
You don't need a pre ban firearm to have and use a pre ban mag.

I understand that is the general consensus about pre ban mag in post ban firearm. Dont want to open that box, but Is there any other firearm sold after the ban started that were sold with high capacity mags though? It just didn't make sense.

You can go to Herb's or wherever right now and buy a brand new post ban firearm that comes with a pre ban mag.
There's AK 30rd hanging out of magwells, there is even a AR retailer that ships a pre ban 20 with thier new off the line rifle.
If you spook enough you can find Glocks, 1911s etc.

I understand that to be the case, but right after the ban happened there were no new rifles sold with hi-cap mags, were there? You are talking about what is happening now. I am referring to new rifles like the HK911 being sold right as the ban began. Were there any others being sold new at that point with high cap mags?

they were sold with low caps (rifles of that time) as that is what was required to be imported.

once here, there was nothing stopping people from making them accept high caps, except the 922R thing really
