Just picked up a used nef/handi in .308 with a Bushnell 4x shotgun scope....
What kind of accuracy should I be looking for? Trolling the net tells me anywhere from 1moa to 4moa. Which in my mind should be fine for northern tier this season.

Thoughts?

Take it to the range and find out. Most rifles are more accurate than the shooter. Ammo plays a big part as well.

That being said. Handi rifles are plenty accurate for thier intended application. Recreation and Hunting.

the rifle works very well when fed the right ammo . The neighbors rifle seems to like the 168 grain bullets from federal real well . It like the fed premium loads the best as that can be your starting point for the journey for better accuracy . They are a good rifle , just keep the hinge points greased as they tend to wear and losen up making the barrel feel wobbly . Other than that have fun shooting !
