Hi everyone. Been around guns most of my life, mainly hunting and have a CCW. Perhaps a mid-life crisis, but looking to get an AR-15. Been planning to build one and have saved up about $800, but it seems like now is that the greatest time with all the out of stock and prices going up. Guess time will tell. Still have a lot to learn with all the AR configurations so looking to learn what I can from the wealth of knowledge on this forum.

Welcome if you are going to go the AR-15 build route parts and prices shouldn't be too bad and its a whole lot of fun. I built one last november in 7.62x39 with hogue overmolded grip and handguard, and a 3x9 for under $850 all together.
