I'm headed over to Epping, NH (just north of Boston) for Sig Academy's 101 course, and I have signed up for 102 for Mar 27--That way I will have had time with a few of their pistols BEFORE April 15. (on the hope that they'll sell me or my dealer one)

Has anyone else taken these courses? Any recommendations? Tips?

I am doing this so that I can actually HANDLE a pistol (without permit) before the window slams shut. I have already purchased a High Standard Victor, and am seriously looking at a Sig P210, if they are even available. Any thoughts on those are welcome too.

Let me know how it is. I have been thinking of signing up to take the 102 class. As for pistols I have a Sig P226 .40S&W and am in love with it. I just picked up the 9mm conversion for cost reasons.

Both are 1-9 pm courses…just worried about long ride home after 9 pm. But that 20% Pro Shop discount gets my attention. Everyone I've talked to says people go back for more.
