Gun laws in the United States by state - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Came across this website. And found out it was very helpful. But ny looks like a 1000 word essay compared to the other states! 😒

NY, CT, NJ, CA and MA should be ashamed to call themselves states in the USA. They belong in some communist country. And as far as the castle doctrine goes, you can protect yourself in your house against intruders any way you want except for NY. Retreat my ass. Unless your defending your home from Arson, then NYS actually says it's alright to use deadly force....then you get to go through the criminal court ringer because they'll find a way to cite you with some sort of crime:wacko:

That's the screwed up thing about NY. They will arrest you for protecting your family in your house and drag you through the court process and 99% of the time a jury will find you not guilty. Its all a waste of time and money.
