No wait, beautiful weather, nice people. Only one person got yelled at for rapid fire and that was on the pistol line.

Only downside was my buddy's AK brass hitting guys 5 benches down.

I used to shoot out at Calverton when the weather was nice. Lived in Brooklyn so it was a big hike. We would take our pistols and a couple of rifles too to make sure we had a long day there. Never had any safety issues but one time these guys were shooting shotguns and being unsafe, walking behind each other with guns pointed at each others asks as they switched places to take turns. I got my buddy and said time to go home. Pretty lax there overall whereas the few times I was at Brookhaven they were drill sergeants. This one range officer got in my friends face threatening to kick him out because he went to close the padlock on his rifle case during a cease fire. My friends a cop.
