I have no clue,what ever a DPMS 308 is I guess.To me I think you would lose quite a bit of speed,and dont have anything in my area a 150 gr bullet wont knock down.

Well these bullets are more for long range target shooting, not hunting. Even though they'll have lower velocity, they'll most likely have higher energy (knock down power).
