So I came across this today.... Glock Vector and Progressive F.O.R.C.E. out in Vegas teamed up to create a custom fighting handgun. It's a customized Glock 17, called the PV17 or Progressive Vector 17.

Take a look at the youtube video for an in-depth explaination of the features.

Nice gun, but not at that price on my current salary.

That is a lot of money for a grip reduction, stippling, slide cuts and paint.

I also am rather intrigued that these long time popular competitive shooting mods (once very taboo in the defensive arena) are now ok to use on a defensive gun because a trainer put their name on it. I am of the opinion that these two disciplines are closer to each other than the "hardcore" shooters of each care to admit. Though basic, it is nice to see carry over.

It is expensive but it is just starting to touch the cost of a salient glock...

I'm kind of surprised with the grip reduction. I thought Glock people loved the unique grip angle. Making it more like a 1911 seems to me like you can go with a non-Glock platform, and have your bigger mag release, front serrations, more aggressive grip texturing, etc. Just find the right model for you.

Also amazed they want to put a 3.5lb trigger on a defensive gun. I think that one is self-explanatory.

Yeah I see how that could get out of hand in a hurry... Those Salient Arms Glocks look great, but again I'm sure the price tag is ridiculous lol
They start around $1800 for the basic ones... LOL and go to almost 4k for a damn glock! :)

Yeah 3.5 pounds? No thanks, I am a twitchy guy. How about 400$ for a used glock and 1000$ for training and ammo.

Can someone explain to me why it's necessary for people who make gun videos to ALWAYS wear camo? I find it to be very annoying for some reason
Generally speakign that "camo clothing" is really good for range/training days. It has allot of pockets in the right places for a class, proper belt loops and can stand up to mud dirt hot barss etc.
This was done probably in between classes or something, hard to put a 3 piece on the middle of the range.
