another little project. over 100 year old dresser. A little wood glue and some other things should bring the stock back to normal before refinishing the walnut.
Still needs to dry. We used wood glue and let set over night. Then took a piece of walnut and ran it sown our circular s itaw so the saw just barely knicked it to make very fine shavings. used the shavings to touch up the crack further and restained it.
Cool. I've used sanding dust mixed with whatever finish I was using (poly, lacquer, etc) to make homemade filler that matches the main piece. Looks awesome. Good luck with it.
