Quick lets ban birthdays! Can't you see how dangerous birthdays are? Everyone who has died has had a birthday in the past? And everyone alive today that has a birthday will die at some point! Clearly birthdays are the greatest undocumented killer of people today! Did you know that Hitler had a birthday? and not just one birthday, but multiple birthdays. No one needs multiple birthdays. Clearly something needs to be done. I propose a birthday registry as the first step. At the time of birth we must record the birth on and then enter into a government birth database. The parents of the child born will be issued a "birth" certificate thus proving they have registered their child, and the child will be issued a number, say a SSI# to show future employers they have been registered. Once everyone is registered, the Govt can use this database to track all criminals and solve all crime, due to the fact that the govt will know who everyone is, and where everyone works and resides at.

I'll do you one better! I think that we should develop a permitting process (with univeral background checks) in order for people to leave their houses. If you would like to exercise your right to leave your house you must fill out an application in triplicate, pay a $340 application fee and wait a year or until governor cuomo decides you are trust worthy. OH and you must demonstrate an "apreciable need above that of the general public" in order to get approved. You need to go out and buy food? TOO BAD! SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE! DENIED!

The rationale is that all violent crime stemmed from the criminal, at one point, leaving their residence before committing the crime. IF WE COULD JUST SAVE ONE LIFE IT WOULD BE WORTH IT!

Or any type of handgun with safety off and hammer cocked..highly probable to fire if it hits the ground then...
(of course we dont know if those unsafe handling practices were done, but it could fire if hit hard and the right way)

Once in the morning to put it back in the safe under my bed from the night table, again before work in the morning to take it out of the safe under my bed so I can holster it, once in the evening to unholster it and put it back in the safe and once before going to bed to take it out of the safe and put it on my night table. These are the only times I touch my gun and I NEVER point it at anything I am not willing to destroy. NEVER do I take it out to "try something." Some gun owners are real pieces of work.

How tragic RIP. If it happened the way its depicted he should be charged but let's just leave it at I doubt it discharged and struck the victim in a vital area upon hitting concrete. Think of the odds.

Doc, just curious do you store your gun with one in the pipe? If so is muzzle pointed in safe direction even in the safe. One of my pet peeves when it comes to guns...
