Finally was in a position to buy a SKS. Been eyeing them for quite some time and seeing supply steadily disappear went ahead and applied for permission to buy one from the SO.

Really happy with the one I did then get, all numbers matching I.O Inc imported Type 56. Metal shows wear (But not abuse) on the outside, bore has a strong clear rifling and to my eye, wood is in really good condition. Overall I am extremely pleased, didn't think that this late I still could get one is such a nice condition.

Congrats. Yep, looks like you got a nice one. Great little rifle. Some of them can get so beat up that the stock looks something like drift wood.
