Got my permit in Cortland County yesterday. It took just over 10 long months. They are say up to a year now.

Spent the day with my dear departed uncle's model 36 in my pocket. Felt really natural. Going to drive to Scranton hopefully Monday.

Looking at adding a M&P Shield and or maybe a XDS in .45 in the near future.

10 months too long. Congrats on restoring your naturally endowed rights.

Congrats, very cool. It's nice to have a gun with a family history, as well.

Been a long time since I got mine here, actually two. The first was restricted then when a new judge came in I applied for a new one unrestricted, took about the same time as you went through. Are they still giving out unrestricted permits? Do you have to take the NRA Safety Course within a year?
