Lucky, I've been trying to get a hold of a 3" 686 plus for two years...considering a 4" model 29 instead...well for the time being since they seem more available. Pics please!

Very nice. A 4" 686+ with no lock is high on my list. For now my 3" 65-3 is serving admirably. Love S&W revolvers.

I have a 686+ with a 3" barrel. I love it. Removed the wood grips and put on Hogue grips for a better feel and cushion. It is a little heavy but I do carry it on occasion.

I recently bought a 6" 686+ Stainless. I don't carry it, I use it to shoot plates at my club. Today I installed a 13lb trigger rebound spring from Wollf Springs. Single action went down from 5 to 4lbs. I also installed their Reduced Power Spring for the hammer. The installed spring was too weak to set off the primers. Replaced it with the stock hammer spring.
