SOUTHEAST - An ex-New York City police officer was sentenced to probation this week after he was convicted of pulling a gun during a dispute with a disabled man who is also a former NYPD cop.
Mario Zeoli, 50, of Southeast was sentenced Tuesday to one year of interim probation. It means that even though he was sentenced to one year, he could have his sentenced reduced if he meets the terms of his probation and stays out of trouble. He will be back in Southeast Town Court in February.
He was convicted of menacing, a misdemeanor, and harassment, a violation, Putnam County District Attorney Adam Levy said.
