For some reason I do not buy that. Many buildings were still standing. If that many bombs went off, no one or anything would have survived but yeah, they still did get their s**t pushed in.

Don't confuse blast radius with pixel size of the dot marked on the map...try zooming in. If they matched up at the scale at which the map is originally displayed, each bomb would have leveled city blocks.

Not sure how you can doubt the accuracy as they site there sources.

Scary thing is you could have just one bomb today cover that blast radius and do more damage.

I buy it. When you zoom in you see that while some neighborhoods got hit pretty hard, others were virtually untouched. Many of those bombs may not have exploded as well.

I don't know what I'm looking at but when you zoom out all the way .... it appears to be only a piece of chewed bubblegum on a map.

That is alot of bombs dropped!!

Seeing it visualizes how, as a British soldier and citizen back in that war, you were literally fighting for survival, all of England was. People sometimes wonder how certain soldiers did the deeds they did in combat, because if they had nothing more to take away, they had nothing to lose.
