That's about how I got my Marlin 1895GS. After going to the dentist for a broken tooth, and still recovering from getting my first root canal, I stopped at Gander and had a look around, and somehow ended up buying the thing. Fortunately, I make really good decisions in gun stores, and it's been one of my favorite rifles, especially since the cost of feeding it pushed me into reloading, and later into casting my own boolits for it. Funny thing is, one of the clerks there told me that that was going to happen, and I figured I'd never be that much of a gun bug, and now I've probably gone past that.
