Yeah, If I recall correctly, that was back when people from Vermont were being arrested and having guns taken away at the Albany Airport. The U.S. DOJ got involved and told NYS and the Albany County Sherrifs office to stop what they were doing, they were not recognizing a federal law regarding interstate transportation of firearms.

theoretically nypd has no jurisdiction in over 65 percent of the jfk in Jamaica queens nyc. its not considered ny. it is a no mans land.

i believe that part of airport falls under other authority
