Looks like the Walmart store in Albany will have them....if anyone is thinking about buying them for your deer plots....maybe pick up a couple for me? The stores up here won't have them.

Hey Ed, will these trees survive up here. If so I will call the company tomorrow and see if they will send some to the Walmart stores in this area.

Believe they are good for Ag Area 4 (that's what I am) are you 3 or 4? The American Chestnut was native in Maine and the area we checked out in Chateaugay NY? There are surviving American Chestnut trees in Maine. Not sure if the Dustan is suited for the same areas as the native American Chestnut.

FYI: I had a peach tree up here for many years..only died because it was poisoned by accident.

What's so unique about these chestnut trees?

Edit: Nevermind... it's an American Chestnut that's naturaly blight resistant. I didn't know such a thing existed.
