And if so where do I find it. Looking to put some basic shapes together for a logo on some letterhead. Tried powerpoint with no luck. If it doesn't come standard, is there a basic program I could download for a real simple image?

Im looking for a simple light house. Can you tattoo it on some letterhead, lol? I'll help with the boat. Have alot of experience bring perfectly good boats up on the rocks and getting them back in the water again...

This may well fit your needs gets decent reviews, is supposedly almost a clone of MS paint and wouldnt require any shenanigans or a steep learning curve for something like adobe or photoshop if your not familiar with them, if not then Ive got other avenues to explore.

Are you looking for something logo styled or just a lighthouse? Im assuming logo style. I can draw you something and you can scan it and put it into letterhead? Personally I am horrible at designing on a computer.

Im so confused...
You can do what your looking to do with photoshop or illustrator, but if your not familiar with how to use them to do it, it would more than likely be easier to use that paintbrush program to accomplish your goal. Its free, its simple, seems like the better choice.

I think I bought a full license for both Photoshop and Illustrator but have no idea where they are... I actually think I bought two licenses for Photoshop... one for the Mac and one for the PC...

There aren't any drawing programs packaged with Macs. However there are a number of legally free options out there. Google sketchup is pretty good, but a bit tricky to use. The GIMP app is an open source photo editor that is pretty close to photoshop.
