Do I have to use an FFL to ship my rifle back to CMP?

A long gun can be shipped via USPS. Usually the cheapest around unless you get a label from the entity receiving the gun that gets the special bulk discount.
S&W charges something like $12 last time I sent something back for non warranty work.
