well, the guy is obviously a dirtbag for having "24 previous arrests including for rape, assault and robbery with a boxcutter" etc... considering the guy is 22 years old, and became a legal adult at 18, I cant imagine why he would be walking the street with those kinds of charges against him... oh yeah.. we have a failing criminal justice system yet the politicians blame the law abiding gun owners and strip our rights to reduce crime.. pfffttt...

A criminal asking for help from a well connected racist criminal. Punks like him is why today i have to deal with garbage like the safe-act shoved down my throat by high class criminals up in Albany. May they all burn in hell.

The scumbag was a witness to a crime commited by the PD....Al steps in and claims racism and pats the dirtbag in the back. Now the punk is caught breaking the law (not the first time) so he calls Al for help and eventually claim racism. I hope the PD pounds him to a pulp while in prison.

You're cold. Some people just need a 25th chance is all. I think he was going to turn it around. A couple more arrests, maybe a shooting at the most, and I bet he would have gotten it out of his system.

you cant blame him, its society that failed him. its not his fault he turned to a life of crime, he probably went to a crappy school so the teachers failed him. he probably grew up in a single family home so his father failed him. he couldnt get a good job because the evil capitalists failed him. we need to take care of people like him and help him prosper. people are not individuals, they are a part of a collective, and only when we are completely cohesive will we start to function like one big happy family where we can use rainbows to bridge the gaps in society, and ride unicorns to the celebration of our unity...

ppppppppppppppppppffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the scary thing is that is how the socialist actually think.

Saw this somewhere else and thought it was kinda funny and not a surprise. Dirtbags hang around other dirtbags. Then he tries to claim the police are arrested him because they filmed him... a theory that only works if you include a time machine for all the other times he was arrested.

But I guess it must have been a cop plant because there's no way someone like him could have a gun... it's illegal!

And this is priceless:
" Orta’s wife, Chrissy Ortiz, 30, confirmed to The Post that he asked her to call Sharpton. She said she reached out to Sharpton’s people, but wasn’t optimistic. “Ramsey is basically f- -ked,” she said.

We have two separate stories here:
1. A police officer killed a man via means of a chokehold, this has been determined by the medical examiner.
2. A witness to the first story was arrested with illegal guns.

We need to filter out the fact that The So Called Rev Al wants to have his five minutes of shame and attempt to be connected to the death of a man by a police officer. As for the second story, just because you did a good thing by being a witness and speaking out about what happened with the chokehold death, it still does not erase the fact you are a criminal. This should show everyone that the old adage is true, criminals will become so brazen, that they become stupid. As for Al, let him try to get his time in the limelight, the Post needs to ignore him and he will go away due to lack of attention. They are just feeding into his narcissistic need to be relevant. What the POST should be reporting is what a failure the unSAFE act is, criminals will not follow any law. This criminal thinks that since he bore witness to a crime and is willing to testify about it, he should be exempt or get a get out of jail free card.

I certainly hope so. He's a felon in possession of a handgun.
There is no need to label someone a felon, any more than to negatively label them "Italian" or "Impoverished".

There is no need for a law prohibiting a citizen convicted of a felony from owning a firearm. There is no need for straw purchase laws.

These laws are in place because the system fails society. If one convicted of a felony has served their time and been released then they should no longer be a threat to society. If they are, they shouldn't be let go to threaten us again. It's that simple.

And don't forget about "mission creep"- or really, mission flip-flop. Truly nasty crimes used to be called felonies and punished as such. Now, things such as car theft are passed off as commonplace and minor; meanwhile our legislatures (particularly in NYS) have made the most simple stupid things (eg SAFE act elements) not just crimes but felonies.

We need a reboot of the entire "justice" system.

It was explained on WPIX news: The camera guy with another female entered a drug spot that was under surveillance. The spot and not the guy( at least by the team that took him down. He was observed with the gun and gave it to the girl to hide under her shirt when the police came in. Airborne says he knows one of the guys involved.
