Been wanting to have my ruger SRHA done in black for a while now. Problem was that i couldnt find anyone certified to do cerakote in the area cause i didnt want to ship. Then i saw a project that Gunsick1 did and gound out he does it. He did a really excellent job on it and im quite impressed!

Thanks again brother!

The quality of the application is top notch! Its flawless, and im really glad to have gone with cerakote over duracoat. I actually nicked it a couple times during assembly trying to fit the new front FO sight and it didnt even mark the finish up.

Just don't post a lawn sign about it. ;)

I like the cylinder contrast with the frame.

Thanks all. I like the contrast as well, but a bonus to leaving the cylinder is the cylinder ring wont show as much with being left SS. If it was coated, eventually, there would be a shiny ring in an all black cylinder that I didnt want. It gives me ideas for other firearms down the road too.
