Hi, I live in Long Island Suffolk County NY and would like to know if I could have a 22LR shipped to my home, I have done this plenty of times with pellet hunting rifles but i don’t know the law for the 22LR. Any info is appreciate.

Negative. Need it shipped to a FFL. The only time that it can be shipped to your home is if it was sent to the manufacturer for repair or service. The return trip can go right to your house.

Negative. No firearm can be shipped directly to your house anywhere. Must go thru FFL

I’ll add on to that. Muzzle loading firearms (black powder and black powder replacements) may be shipped directly to your home. Except NYC and possibly Westchester. A curio firearm (ammo out of MFR like a Henri Martini) may be shipped. All modern type like a 22lr must be to a FFL as stated.

Except for NYC and perhaps Westchester. You have to check with the seller on if they will ship to NY at all. USPS is a legit carrier. Done it with curios.
