Just applied for my permit in Madison county a few days ago. I have been wondering weather I should try or not. I am 39 now but got into quite a bit of trouble from 17 till 25. The last time I got into trouble was in 1998. Its been 15 years so well see how it goes. I am quite ashamed of my record when I was a young man but have changed %100 since then. I attached a letter to the judge explaining how much I have changed and I hope that I could make him understand it. So Ill just keep my fingers crossed for the next 6 to 8 months

Good luck Bro. D'steffano seems to be a fair minded guy . Best advice is be totally open about all your former indiscretions . Don't mistakenly assume that sealed records don't exist.
