I was doing some window shopping the other day getting some prices on 1911 type pistols, and one gun shop had one of the BFR .45/70 pistols, and after looking at it through the glass(waiting for pistol clerk to send me paper to go get permit) I found it has piqued my interest. I think I'd only want it for possible hunting, and I'd love to load it up with black-powder or lighter loads at least at first.

yeah the price on it at least for me was quite expensive, but they had other guns that were more expensive there. It was $929.

Does BFR stand for Big F***ing Revolver? lol
LOL
No, but that has always been the running joke. I believe it stands for Big Fine Revolver, I looked at a couple of youtube videos of people shooting them, and it makes me want one even more.
