Love that movie...

Actually sitting here watching Reservoir Dogs for the first time (imagine that), and think I'm watching the prequel to Pulp Fiction. Many of the same actors, similar story line, lots of guns/action. Anybody else ever think that?

Check out 'Jackie Brown' and '4 rooms' sometime.
(Tarentino has only the last story of the four in 4 rooms, but his style is all over that part. Terrific twist on the old 'I can light my lighter X times without fail' game)

'Grindhouse double feature', 'Desperado' and 'From dusk til dawn' are few more of his works, and if there's any doubt if its one of his movies, just look for him playing a role 'cause he does in every one of his films.

I actually saw Pulp Fiction on the big screen for the first time and the power went out right as they were opening the briefcase at the end. Everyone thought it was the way the movie ended but we ended up with a free ticket to see it again, lol. I think at that time you could still bring your date to the movies get pop corn a couple of sodas and some peanut chews for under $20. Ah, the good o'le days...

Movie and bj for under $10 at the wekend cheap seats matinee.
Popcorn was only to have something to hide your weenie in so the helmet protesters could play with it first.

Well, that and the butter and salt seasoning....

Damn.... been sitting here thinking about it.
The last time I was in a theater was for the original release of 'Robocop'.
Last drive in was either 'Heavy metal' or ' Pink Floyd, the wall'
Now I've got them both on dvd and vhs :)

Because it just popped into my head:
Harvey Kietel <sp> who played mr wolf in Tarentino's pulp fiction was Jodie Foster's pimp in taxi driver, which also starred Robert Dinero, who was one of the costars in Tarentino's jackie brown

Can't quite drag it back to Kevin Bacon yet though, so feel free to run with it if you can

Watched PF once. Had no idea what was going on.
cause you gotta watch it twice at minimum. Story is told out of order. Lots of great lines though, lots. Also, don't bother hurting your brain about what's in the case... NO ONE knows, as it's never been revealed, but one of the most common ideas i've heard is it was his soul, which was pulled thru the hole in his head that he has the band-aid on

I'm an addict, I could talk about this for days, which is why I haven't commented too much in this thread, lol, but yea, as a 31 yo male who's had access to hbo his whole life, gone to all the movies that have come out, and otherwise seen just about every movie worth seeing, I hold this as my #1 movie, period. Not breaking down by genre or other... simply, the best movie I have ever seen
