That's no deal at those prices . You can do better at hit and miss shopping than at that site . That's my 2 cts . FYI I can buy 9 mm ammo at GM ( the same ammo manufacter ) 14.99 a box of 50 , they charge you 21.99 a box of 50 . Now how does that save you money ?

The benefit is you are locked in at whatever price so when the price gouging starts up you aren't as affected. I hope if Rob is elected he scraps the entire ammo bgc system and maybe, just maybe we can once again order ammo online like free citizens.

There are a few companies that will still ship here and there is an FFL an hour and a half away from me (one way) who will accept shipments (starting at $25) but I'm sick and tired of finding deals or getting emails on sales that I simply can't partake in because they won't ship to NY. This is ****ing bull****.

I've been trying to find a specific type of ammo locally and I can't. So I'm supposed to pay $25 to transfer 2 boxes of shells to myself?! That is more than the ****ing ammo costs!

You can get to Pennsylvania in 1.5 hours, what are you talking about? Yeah living in LI sucks but you have options.

I wonder if anyone tried ordering ammo by giving the wrong zip code. Zip code that doesn't exist. It will be corrected by the shipping company and delivered and it should pass computer handled restrictions by the vendor. I bet it would work. I don't buy ammo, I reload. This is just an idea.

If you are within driving distance of connecticut. You can get a connecticut ammunition permit for 3 years for 35 dollars. Then you can buy in any store in CT. No FFL bs no nics check on every box of shells. Let Andy stew in his own juice. This is a real alternative and it keeps you off Andy's secrect police radar.

I know there are options, but when I just want a box or two of something, or I get emailed a sale that looks good I don't want to pay more in shipping, tax and transfer fees than I do for the ammo. As yes, I can drive to PA but being on LI I have to drive through the city which means time, traffic, and tolls. If I was placing a huge order, then fine. But not for a couple of boxes.
I ship to my mother's house in NJ. If you're interested, you can piggy back and pick up from me in SI. I mainly use Cabela's.
Sounds good, I will keep you posted.

Thought about it, but I would have to go over bridges and pay tolls. Right now the hour drive and the $25 transfer fee is still cheaper, but like I said, only for large orders.

NY ammo buys

This is not an endorsement & I have no affiliation with them, with that said, I got wind of on-line store (name removed) from this forum and have been using them ever since. My local FFL only hits me up for $10 per shipment and that doesn't hurt much what with the deals they have and amount I order. Outside of the delay in transit from TX and one order mix up (ended up woring out in my favor eventually), I can't think of any other disadvantages. I would probably buy from them if there was wasn't this unsafe act BS. PM me if your in my area (c my screen name), and want to know more. oath keeper for life, OGRC, MOLON LABE.
