Governor's Message

Governor Cuomo
We must live up to the promise of the Lady in our Harbor and ensure that New York remains a land of opportunity for all. We created an Office for New Americans to assist the many newcomers eager to contribute to our economy and become part of the family of New York.

The Office will promote programs that encourage New Americans to participate in New York State civic and economic life, and will help legal permanent residents navigate the path to citizenship. It will also help them by encouraging entrepreneurship. Finally, it will take steps to protect New Americans as they transition to full participation in New York's communities.

When new New Yorkers prosper, we all prosper. When they succeed, we all succeed. We are not afraid of immigrants in New York - because we are immigrants, and children of immigrants, and we know how much they contribute to the State.

We created an Office for New Americans to assist the many newcomers eager to contribute to our economy and become part of the family of New York and screw those "extremists" that we determine don't belong here.


The Office will promote programs that encourage New Americans to participate in New York State civic and economic life, and will help legal permanent residents navigate the path to citizenship while at the same time, strip those who were born here of as many constitutional rights as we can. It will also help them by encouraging entrepreneurship. Finally, it will take steps to protect New Americans as they transition to full participation in New York’s communities, while again, screwing those that were born here and believed in their God given rights.


When I prosper, we all prosper except those who I don't agree with. When I succeed, we all succeed, again, except those I don't agree with. We are not afraid of immigrants in New York – because we are immigrants, and children of immigrants, and we know how much they contribute to the State. We are afraid of those who believe in religion, marriage, and the second amendment. Yeah, that scares the **** out of us.

Just like not helping those businesses ALREADY in NY State, he wants to welcome NEW immigrant folks and businesses and not stand for the rights of those who have already been here from the beginning. He wants to create a new class of citizen. One that owes him a debt of gratitude. One he can control. One that he can therefore create new ways of doing things and new rules/guidelines for. Much easier to do that with folks that you allowed to exist and prosper compared to the law abiding American citizens born and bred here who have had more freedoms prior to his existence as Governor.
