Don't let her off the hook, guys. Even though turds like Piers Morgan are still around, you can see that he was visibly shaken when he saw how many hundreds of thousands of people want him out of this country. Show up on her Facebook page and articles she writes and jump into the fray and let her know that you are watching and that you highly disapprove of her point of view.

This movie clip is old and from the previous season of Bill Maher, who has all sorts of guests of different political backgrounds on his show. Alex Wagner is conveying the typical message from MSNBC. People will spout off just about anything they want, free speech allows them to do so. Everyone has an opinion.

I'd love to have the opportunity to sit down and talk with her about 2A as well as the other amendments, I think I could set her straight. She is hot though, I'll give her that. Dumb, but hot. Rather than bashing her, write her in a reasonable manner and maybe she'll change her opinion.

For using her 1st amendment rights? She may be an idiot but she is still an American idiot.
Right, and Americans are tried for treason, not foreigners. And Americans can abuse their First Amendment rights. If she, or you, do not believe in the Constitution of the United States of America as written, feel free to find somewhere else that you are welcome.

That's entirely the beauty of living in the US. We can all say whatever we want. Someone speaking out on how they feel government should be run is EXACTLY what our country was built on.

Even if her opinion is that of the MAJORITY, the Constitution does account for that. The rights of the minority are still protected from the will of the majority.

Ah yes, another 'master of the straw man argument'. Straw man: create a fallacy then attack the lie and pretend you were countering someones position. I said nothing about speaking out against government. The Constitution is not government. It is the founding document of this nation and represents our core principles. Your straw man is that I implied she was speaking out against government - she was not, nor did I say she was - and you proceeded to attack your own lie. She is speaking out against the core principles of our nation, and as far as I am concerned, if you disagree with our core principles, the Constitution of the United States of America, not the government or a politician or a law, but our founding document, then feel free to find some other country that has a constitution that is more to your liking.

Apparently I will need to re-use this post throughout the day, yet another straw man. I am not going to type the same thing all day, feel free to read a copy/paste of exactly what you need to hear:

And what would you think if she was in favor of repealing the 13th Amendment?
She can by her own right in her pursuit of happiness, etc., be vehemently against the entire Constitution if she wants. She's just a journalist from MSNBC. She's not in a political office under oath for upholding the principles of the Constitution.

Where I have problems is when politicians abuse their power, impose their "will" or own personal agenda, and manage (usually by $$$$) to pass legislation which makes it unlawful to exercise a basic right defined within the Constitution. It's a waste of time, frustration, and anger to go after her or anyone else in the media for that matter. Use that anger and frustration against Komrade Cuomo.

I'm not sure who you were talking to, but if it were me....

She was speaking out about our government. The Constitution lays out how our government works.

The Constitution is a living document. We have the amendment process for a reason. Her speaking out is EXACTLY what the very first one of those amendments if for. Just because you don't like what she has to say, doesn't mean she doesn't have a right to say it. By your rules, the people that spoke out against slavery (Article 1, section 9) and the 3/5ths rule should have been kicked out of the US?

Nobody here shares her opinion, but she still has the right to say what she believes. Just like you have the right to say she's an idiot for thinking that.
