A&E knows who's buttering their bread, if they dropped phil, the whole show would have come to an abrupt end only to be picked up by another channel at some later date after a nice buyout negotiation

I will not argue that point with you, however A&E had more than money to worry about, with the huge outcry of possible civil rights violations among other things, and the good possibility of another network picking up the pieces of a broken duck dynasty and reaping the many rewards of having America's favorite family on their team- priceless!!

They make a ton of money off of endorsements, but that's not specific to A&E. Their actual pay per episode is somewhere around $10k an episode.

Yeah, its just as bad as this other group I know, constantly complaining about their rights not being respected and whining about the way those that dont agree with their lifestyle portray them, I think you know the group

I never watched the show until about two weeks before the drama started. There was so much hype about the show I decided to check it out. My wife and I found it hilarious even if its scripted to a degree. We certainly disagreed with the whole drama, and I hope they go to another network over it.
