6.8SPC Finally

I had been researching a different caliber AR15 since October 2011. I was going to go with the 6.5 Grendel but cost and parts availability made me reconsider. I eventually settled on the 6.8SPC. I finally got it all together and put a couple rounds down range with it and couldn't be happier. I'm going to have to look into a nice scoped in the 10-15x power range.

Allstar Tactical Billet Upper and Lower Receivers, Allstar Batl Trigger, Magpul UBR Stock (Magpul MOE Fixed Stock on order), Magpul Miad Pistol Grip, Spikes ST2 Buffer, PRI Bolt, RGuns NiB coated carrier (Temporary, PWS Carrier being NiB coated at Fail Zero), 20" White Oak Armament SPCII Stainless Match Barrel 1-11 Twist, PWS Muzzle Brake, Troy 13" VTAC Handguard, Magpul MBUS (Temporary)

Yeah! ...big momma!!!
badass gun.

not sure of your price range or what not for scope, but i would 100% consider and look into Nikon Monarch's. they make them in a lot of ranges.
Looks great!

I bet its pretty accurate with that 20" barrel
I would choose a scope accordingly to what his purpose is for the system.
Monarchs are great, nothing huge, nothing exciting but they are very good quality glass.
The turrets are kind if simple but the bigger ones come with 3 set of turrets.
For hunting Burris are very nice, small footprint some of the ones and light. Very crisp too.

agreed. i just love nikons. buckmasters is an other one. i have two and i like them as well.
I have to stop buying handguns to buy the scope. Haha. Went to go look at scopes and bought a glock 19 and I'm still bidding on a used beretta92fs on gunbroker.
good choice on the beretta. i LOVE my 92. like them way more than the px4.

i just got my third 23 today. fde :)
All this talk of buying handguns is giving the the itch to go to the gun shop.
Next time get a pistol with a nice pistol scope so you can at least use that in the forward rails. lol
