Sticking it to the RNC and Christie! Who needs them!!

A hedge funder has given $500,000 to an outside group backing Republican Rob Astorino's candidacy against Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo, records show.
The donor to conservative political action committee Rescue New York is Robert Mercer, co-CEO of Renaissance Technologies, a Long Island and Manhattan hedge fund. Mr. Mercer has given heavily in the past to local as well as national groups such as the Club For Growth and American Crossroads, the GOP super PAC founded by Karl Rove. Mr. Mercer did not immediately return a request for comment about his support for Mr. Astorino.
Rescue New York, which was founded by former New York Republican state Sen. George Winner, also pulled in $100,000 from Jim Mooney, of Cobblecreek Construction in Purchase, N.Y., according to campaign finance filings.
As of their most recent disclosure reports, Mr. Cuomo had $30.5 million on hand while Mr. Astorino had only $2.4 million. The disparity makes any outside support Mr. Astorino receives crucial to his viability, as he remains unknown to many voters.
Mr. Astorino has struggled to raise money from deep-pocketed New York business leaders, who either support Mr. Cuomo, or have remained neutral in the race.
Mr. Cuomo is expected to win a Tuesday Democratic primary against Zephyr Teachout, who has run a surprisingly spirited race against the heavily favored incumbent. The general election is in November.
Because of U.S. Supreme Court rulings, New York no longer has a $150,000 aggregate limit on the amount donors can give annually to outside groups.

This year it isn't about how much cash you have , it's about whether you can return this state to it's former glory ! Most voters are tired of seeing everything they have worked for taken and given to someone else who doesn't contribute ! All of these " progressive ideas " are taking a Huge toll on the taxpayers of the nation so the Gov,s of these states up for reelection will feel the wrath of the voters ! It's been a proven fact this year that underdogs can and will win inspite of being underfunded . The last race proved that the incumbents are very vulnerable this year after making huge mistakes by overreaching their bounds and litterally stripping rights away form their citizens ( not serfs as one who is running in this state believes ) this why it's a great year to throw All the bastards out who have overstepped or just plain did not vote for their constituents ! This is turning out to be a great year so far !
