I don't think any logical person would think he deserved to die over some cigars. To say he was a child or a good person is pretty dopey though.

And who knows what happened, you have questionable accounts on both sides.

Did you even read what it said? It doesn't matter what he did. As soon as he was executed without trial, he became a victim.
Where is the proof he was executed? He was shot while is head was in a downward angle. This could very well show he attacked the officer. He was not shot in the back. The fact that he just committed a violent act at a store shows he was not scared to get physical. He most likely thought the responding officer was there due to the crime he just committed.
His stupidity is another reason he was killed. If I just committed a crime, the last place I would walk is in the middle of the street.

I strongly agree with #1 and #2 on that list. If we keep giving leo's army toys they will used them. I'm not sure this guy was an innocent victim though.

Surely if he was attacking, then you'd be right. The article is speculating on that point as we still don't know if that was the case, but that's not really the point.

That statement makes assumptions about facts that are still in question. The latest news reveals he was shot in the front and not the back. A video taken immediately afterward gives credence to the claim he rushed the police officer. The existing narrative of "cop shot a man in the back running away from him" may be revised significantly. The phrase "executed without trial" is hyperbole.
