In the linked article it states,

“I and other attorneys general believe these fundamental rights deserve the highest protection and that New York’s gun ban is unconstitutional under principles the Supreme Court has already established.”

Judge Skretny's opinion and decision is,
while the banned firearms and magazines may be “in common use,”
their prohibition does not violate the Second Amendment.


That scumbag Skretny, "does not violate the Second Amendment". WTF it sure the hell does!


It seems to be as long as someone is a Federal Judge in ( NY ) he can over ride the SCOTUS....

Like I said, the fact that judges can disregard law is pretty insane. I know it's pretty much the job of politicians in NY to pay no attention, but it's crazy that a judge can ignore it based on the letter that comes after their name.

Those 22 AsG have nothing to profit from supporting SAFE, in fact attacking it will approve their standing with their support base.

Nobody really cares about the BoR, it's all been divvyed up by both sides and dissected. It's all about power and money. But everyone has to demonstrate a plausible reason to support something.
