Yes you can have 10 round mags. Only thing I would say is if this is a fixed mag I would certainly go with straight 10 round mags with a removable base plate. If it’s a featureless gun have fun and get what you like. With the 10/30 on a fixed mag gun if you get a jam it will make things difficult because of the bolt position at times you won’t be able to flee move the mag to clear the jam. I had a double feed once on my fixed mag and it was really tough to clear it out. I had to remove the baseplate and get it out from there.
