Quick question, mostly for the members in the WNY area. How many shop often at Gander in Tonanwanda. Firearms area that is.

  4. Firearms in the News
On all the news channels here in the 716. Appears some guy set his house on fire and they heard gunfire. Police told all residents within 1/4 mile of the incident to shelter in place and hide in their basements. Hide in their basements? Really? Let that sink in for a minute. Hide in your...

Hi folks. I am PooksterUSMC. I served in The Marines from 1992-1996. I was an 0351, which is Anti-Armor Assault. Basically I was one of the crazy guys that strapped rockets to my back and chased Tanks for a living. I returned to Civilian life in '96 and began target shooting with my Father. I...

Whoops. Felony reckless endangerment charges pending against this guy, who used to work for the the Erie County Sheriff's Office. I've shot different common household structural materials using regular target (ball) ammo and hollow points. Hollow points don't penetrate wall studs nearly as well...

  9. General Firearms
They have Winchester 556 55 grain for $12.27 in stock now. 100 boxes just put on shelf. Limit is 3 per-person. I'll be heading up there for another 3 @ midnight. Better than paying .90 a round.

Hello. Forgot to to this, new to NYFirearms, new to CCW. I have now had my pistol for 1 full week, and still have not shot it. I am the only one in my family (Extended included) that is interested in firearms, and so I know nobody that I can go shooting with. Looking forward to learning.
  12. Pistol Permits
Well I am really considering getting a permit, and using it for work. (armed guard or something) I called up the pistol permit people and was talking with them (mean bunch really) and they said I needed 4 references from the Town of Tonawanda. 14. Shooting Ranges
I live about 5 minutes away from their club area, so I was wondering if there were any members of Tonawanda Sportsmen's (on Killian near Bear Ridge in Pendleton) that could vouch for it or provide info on whether or not they allow non-members to pay hourly rental range fees. I'd like to try...
