Thought of the Day: Who Is the Extremist, Andrew Cuomo? "Governor Cuomo acted like an elitist and nativist when he said that "extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay… have no place in the state of New York, because that's not who New Yorkers are." He may...

"A West Virginia man faces two counts of murder for killing a pair of men from a distance with a rifle after he wrongly assumed they were on his land. The victims, it turns out, were his new neighbors, checking out their property for the first time."...
  4. Ammunition and Reloading
This has been my first and only press. I purchased the Lee Precision Loadmaster 223 Remington a couple years ago when people said I was crazy to reload .223 because ammo was so prolific and cheap... my, how things change. I set this up as per directions and a few youtube videos, the Lee...

Funny thing about interpretation of the law. If the Haynes case set the bar for self incrimination then the safe act registration is a dead law. No one has to register their assault weapon. If by not registering an AW by April 15th you become a criminal, but can't be prosecuted for the crime...

I shot my friend's 9mm PM 9 and was very impressed. I have heard some conflicting info on it's reliability--does anyone here have some experience with the gun??

  10. Handguns
Usually it takes me a really long time to research and ultimately buy a gun. I think it over...a lot. I try to justify not only the gun, but the caliber. I try and think what I'll use it for, as I don't like to have things collecting dust. When I saw the G36 for the first time, I was oddly...

NY SAFE's peddlers never expected the backlash to their heinous molestation of our rights. They thought we would lay down and take it. They thought we would let them get away. Well they are DEAD WRONG. We are not going away. We are not going anywhere. They are. They better pack their bags...

Throughout the years while we sit here freaking out about losing our rights (and the most recent NYS and CA laws ARE total bull****) check it out, turns out we are actually gaining rather then losing. Just watch the map (its a GIF) So keep squeezing gub-ment, everytime you do they take away...
  13. Ammunition and Reloading
Well they have gotten even worse. Dick's in Middletown now has a ONE BOX OF AMMO per customer rule. Not one per caliber.. not one bulk pack... One box. I thought the 3 box rules was bad.. this is disgusting! What is someone supposed to do with one 20 round box of 223?
  14. Curios and Relics
I have. C&R collecting is history. Especially at this time of year (D-Day), I think of the Vets from WWII on both sides. If you have C&R rifles, that have been in the wars, there are Ghosts attached to them. Think about it..... Every piece, every stock, receiver, barrel and sling.

The common use theory put forth by Heller v DC could open up the short barreled rifle restriction (NFA) for scrutiny. The short barreled rifle is in common use by the military right now. The M4 has a 14.5 inch barrel and the flash suppressor is not permanently attached. Just food for thought.
