  1. Pistol Permits
I'm in the last stretch, I think, of getting my pistol permit. I have a pistol out of state that I did not put on the initial application, partly because I read "possess" to mean have in my home, person or vehicle in my state and not to mean "own" which may have been in error, regardless... The...

I'm wondering what a unissued Yugo SKS is worth? Numbers matching. I see prices all over the place. Yes, this is the 59/66. I'm thinking about selling mine and eventually getting down to just my target rifle and my Marlin 60 that my parents bought me when I was 12 yo. So .... what is a...

For the purpose of preparing for all out civil unrest in this state or country. Let's try to see through all the BS in the New law and the actual ramifications of a willful or un-willful act of non-compliance. I am NOT an attorney or condone such action. This is for discussion and knowledge...

A good friend just told me his stepfather (an older guys in his late 70's and not really up on all the new laws) thought that he had to register his sks's that he bought in the early 80's. He brought them down to the trooper barracks and the troopers helped register them for him. WTF!??

How many times have you seen people post Broadsides like these ? --"You are not a Patriot if you Register or Comply" -"Our Founding Fathers Didn't Comply"- "Only Sheeple Will Register" -"You Are a Coward If you Modify in Any Way" I don't think insulting someone is a smart way to keep them...

"Today I saw pictures of people lining up in Middletown, Connecticut registering their guns and giving up their unalienable Second Amendment right to "keep and bear arms." I immediately called the Connecticut State Police and spoke to a State Trooper. I identified myself as Senior Chief Petty...

So what's preventing me from buying a lower and building an ar15 "assault weapon" and then registering it? What records do they have of me owning it prior to the cutoff date? Even if I purchase the lower from a local store that all goes through the NICS system which isn't NY state. Is this just...

Wayne County SCOPE posted this in April, but I missed it until it appeared in the May newsletter. Anybody called Dave Seeley, Cuomo's Finger Lakes region representative, to ask about this? 18-Apr-2013 One of our members called the local Cuomo office (Dave Seely (585) 399 7066) to find out if...

Say somebody has a pistol that is currently registered on their Pistol Permit. Now say that particular pistol has (as of today) been redefined as an Assault Weapon due to being semi-auto and possessing an 'evil' feature. Would the owner of said pistol need to register it again - as an AW? Is...
