Can a person order a lower reciever thru his ffl dealer? I am trying to order one thru Midway USA via my FFL dealer and he is told by midway that they cannot ship to NYS. The lower is with an A2 stock and not collapsible.

Which ones do you like and which ones have you found that suck? Im gonna be getting one for my build as I plan to have a single point sling... Thinking about the magpul asap it just seems a little bit expensive compared to some others I have looked at

Hello I picked up a 500 a few months ago and after shooting it a handful of times I notices there is a internal gouge from the top of my reciever. Not sure if it is from the bolt locking mechanism or maybe from a shell on extract. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it worth contacting mossberg?

I am trying to do my first bolt action rifle build, I want to use the .338 Federal Round. I found a really cheap mint mauser 98k action, it is long action. Is it different than a .308 chambered mauser? Can I reliably use the .338 federal in a long action?
