  1. Ammunition and Reloading
I currently use for my Nosler 200 Grain JHP's (I drop them over 28.0 grains of H110). They sure pack a punch and are very fast moving, but very accurate out of a 20" lever action rossi 92 round barrel. They tend to keep a nice group of around 1-1.5" at 50 YD with the iron sights and my terrible...

Did some testing with the Glock 34 this am, new rear sight is causing it to shoot waaaaaaaaaaaaaauy low at all yardages so it has to go, but that's not the purpose of this thread. Any of you guys reloading copper plated .45acp like Berry's, or Rainier? There doesn't seem to be any availability of FMJ out there right now, and I was thinking of trying a batch of plated projectiles. Thoughts?
  7. Ammunition and Reloading
Longshot but I thought I would try. Any stores in the Syracuse area that stock plated 9mm...like Rainier or Berry's. I have an order but it will not be in till next week. Needs to be plated so I can shoot at an indoor range. If not I will just shoot a mess of .22 for fun. Thanks Chuck
  8. Rifles
I have just obtained a german K98 mauser which has been gold plated or gold dipped. Made in 1942. I have authenticated that it is indeed gold coated. I am not sure if this was a parade rifle, gold plated by the germans, or gold plated by a collector. The gold covers all metal parts, screws, etc...
