I've asked this question on a couple different forums and find it amazing the wide range of different answers I get. Pros and cons for it.
I only buy new factory brands like Herters and Tul Ammo. Right now these are the only .223/5.56 ammo I can find that hasn't been severly price gouged...
i just got my pistol permit and steel cased ammo was all i could find.i know its not ideal but it was all i could get. anyone know where i can shoot steel cased ammo in westchester. i know the indoor ranges don't allow it and im looking for the nearest range that i can go to that allows steel...
I have a case of brass cased Yugo on SKS strippers I no longer need. It's a case of 1120rnds...I'd like $450 ftf. Rochester area. Can meet in the Norwich area in mid March or Bath area this weekend. Still sealed in it's can in the wooden crate. IM preferred.
So I saw something new on the shelf today, Tulammo brass cased ammo. They are calling it Brass Maxx.
It looked decent, so I picked up a few boxes of .223. there was also .40 and .45 on the shelf. Decent retail price point as well:
.223: $16.97/50 rounds
.40 & .45: $19.97/50 rounds
Sportsman's Guide and Cabela's are sold out on bulk .223.
What are my other options for cheap priced, good quality, bulk .223 cased in brass?!?

How do you guys feel about steel cased ammo... depending on what forum I look on everybody says shoot the crap out of it or dont shoot it at all...
Id preferably shoot brass 100% of the time but with the price difference between wolf/tula and brass ammo its hard not to just order 1000 rounds of...
