Today I noticed I get a different type of view when I click the "What's New? button did something change? I used to see all the changed threads in a forum type listing now it shows up as and activity stream which doesn't seem as easy to navigate.

Was the letter sent to NYSP only asking if Mr-2 was legal , in writing? mr-2 is nice but... The bigger question is.. Bullet buttons. How do we inquire. Aside from the useless hotline?

I suppose this question would be directed more toward the legal guys around here. With no answer on the legalities of the bullet button, And NYShooter "thinking" the MR2 would be good to go, Is there any way we can get some sort of push to get an answer on either of these options? 13. Laws and Politics - Firearms/Self Defense/Weapons
The definition of removable/detachable magazine in NY law appears to be the same as the wording in CA. In CA they use a bullet button on the mag, and presto, it's no longer considered a removable mag. I'm sure some people here have dug farther into the law now than I have since I've moved on...
  14. Laws and Politics - Firearms/Self Defense/Weapons
So, if you made your AR a straight pull with a non-ready release magazine, would it still be an assault rifle? For home defense, I'd want a semi-automatic but at the range...I could care less. I saw an awesome video by LanTac. They had a really cool upper with a right hand charging handle...
